I found the service to be really good, with staff going above and beyond. However, the steep hills were quite a workout, so comfortable shoes are a must.

I had an very nice stay at Solar Dos Mouros, thanks to the amazing views and friendly staff. The location in the Alfama district provided rich cultural experiences, although it required a bit of uphill walking to get back to the hotel. Breakfast on the terrace was good, although I did miss some options when arriving closer to the end time. Overall, it was a lovely experience that I'll cherish.

My stay at Solar Dos Mouros was a mix of stunning views and frustrating service issues. While the panoramic vistas of the Tagus River from my room were absolutely amazing, I faced disorganization and inadequate service during my time there. The charming ambiance and unique layout offered a boutique experience, but slow breakfast service and staff availability were significant downsides.

I stayed in a spacious room with plenty of windows letting in natural light and offering an very nice view of the water and the city. It felt cozy and had a unique character, although the cleanliness could've been better.
Service

While Momo and Francois were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the overall service was often slow and disorganized, which hampered my experience. I encountered delays, especially when trying to get assistance.

The hotel is perched on a hill in the historic Alfama district, providing easy access to the castle and other attractions in the area. However, the steep hills made it physically challenging at times.
Dining

Dining at the hotel had its charm, but the restaurant service was slow, and the dinner portions were surprisingly small compared to the high prices. I would recommend finding local eateries for better options.

Though the hotel lacked an elevator and had limited recreational space, the welcoming drinks at check-in and effort to assist with luggage were nice touches. I appreciated the overall boutique feel.
